Red Work Pincushion

I have completed another pincushion.  I like to do embroidery work while traveling or waiting in doctor's offices.  Thanks to Kaaren from the Painted Quilt for sharing her lovely patterns.  This one is from last months First Friday Freebie.   Visit Kaaren's blog for more lovely patterns.http://thepaintedquilt.blogspot.com/

Not sure, but I think I will donate this to our Quilt Guild for  a sale item in our booth at our Quilt show in June of 2013.

    1. Thanks for stopping in to visit my blog. We did have a great meeting last night. Our guest speaker had many of her quilt to show us. I took pictures in Anna Marie's absence, hope to post them to our Yahoo page in the next few days.

  2. Darling pin cushion! It looks very practical in that it won't scoot around.

    1. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. The pincushion is filled with ground English walnut shells so it is pretty heavy.

  4. It's too sweet, Betty. I think I see a red color for the base. So sweet, a person may think twice before sticking pins into it. 8^)

  5. Yes is does have a red back. I guess it could be used as a paper weight as well. However, a few pins will not hurt it any.
