It started out as a challenge in one of my quilting clubs. Several of us exchanged fabric strips so we would have a good variety of prints to use in this scrappy quilt. We were to donate the finished quilt to a charity. After all the work put into these quilts it was decided we could keep our quilts if we wanted and donate a different quilt.
I have decided to keep my Barbed Wire after making all those half square triangles.
This is my quilt. I have found another quilt that I have made that will be donated to a charity.
LOOKS GREAT! You guys did a wonderful job with all your quilts!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cyndi.
DeleteWaiting to see yours.
I love your quilt and especially the name!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mayleen. I cannot take credit for the name of the quilt. It came from Fons and Porter.
DeleteGood decision to keep this quilt. You would have regretted it forever if you gave this one away. People who do not quilt would not appreciate all the work in this quilt. You did a great job!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yes, you are right about non-quilters not knowing the time and effort that goes into these quilts.
DeleteI agree... not this quilt... as it's beautiful... but another in it's place is still fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryll
DeleteVery attractive quilt! Thanks for posting to your blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the picture for me.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful!!!! Good decision to keep it; I know a LOT of time and talent went into its making.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be a nice quilt for one of the grandsons one day. Thanks for stopping by.
